Barrier-free access via Stiftsplatz (attention: uneven ground due to cobblestones). Please note that the gardens and the museum in the Imperial Wing do not have barrier-free access.

Parking for passenger cars
Parking spaces for people with special needs are available in the parking garage (P1).

Parking for tour buses/transport service cars
For tour buses and service cars transporting wheelchair users we recommend letting passengers get off in  the Vinotheque car park (P2). The elevator, which can be accessed via a short ramp behind the Emperor’s Staircase, takes visitors from Stiftsplatz down to the visitor reception. Please park the bus in the parking garage. Users of electric wheelchairs should take the lift in the car parking garage.

Elevators
There are two elevators. One elevator takes visitors from the garage (car parking level) to the Sala terrena. The other goes from the Sala terrena to the level of Stiftsplatz and further to the Imperial Rooms on the 1st Floor. There are two stair lifts available for access to the different levels in the mediaeval cloister area.

Wheelchairs / folding chairs
For visitors with limited mobility, a wheelchair is available at the cloakroom. Folding chairs are available for use, at the Visitor Reception/Sala terrena.

Toilets
Toilets for people with special needs are situated near the Sala terrena and in the Stiftscafé.

Restaurant/Café

The Café Holler is located at Stiftsplatz near Rathausplatz and has a barrier-free access point (Rathausplatz 20). The Stiftsrestaurant Leopold is also located at Stiftsplatz, a few metres closer to the church. In front of the restaurant there are parking spaces for guests; the restaurant also has a barrier-free access point (Albrechtsbergergasse 1).
