Wolfgang Hamm grew up with wine in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria. During his economic studies in Vienna and the USA, he worked at various wineries in Austria and France and wrote his doctorial thesis on a wine marketing subject. Hamm first gained practical experience in international marketing in the food industry before taking responsibility for the management of the Stift Klosterneuburg Winery. If Wolfgang is not sharing his enthusiasm for the wines of the Stift, you will likely find him at a wine conference o r seminar where he is a highly demanded speaker and lecturer.

The native Carinthian, Martin Muschlin, caught the wine bug during his education at the school of wine management in Krems which was completed with practical experience in Napa Valley, USA and Stellenbosch, South Africa. During his studies in food and biotechnology he worked further wine harvests in California, New Zealand, and Austria. After completion of his studies he worked as assistant winemaker at Palliser Estate in Martinborough. Martin worked another harvest in Australia before finally returning to Austria where he has led the winemaking team at the Stift Klosterneuburg Winery since 2011. His great love is his wife and his great passions are ice hockey and Pinot Noir.

Markus Schodl seems to have inherited his affinity to wine from his father, who was a vintner, but he did not realize this until later. He first went to a Technical High School for Biochemistry and Biotechnology and worked for a few years before returning to his roots to study viticulture and oenology at the highly esteemed Technical College in Geisenheim, Germany. He completed his studies with practical experience at wineries in Australia, Italy, Germany and Wachau, Austria before taking responsibility for the management of the vineyards and orchards of the Stift Klosterneuburg.

Heinz Hausgnost stems from the Weinviertel wine-growing region of Austria. He has been our sales manager for many years and caters to the needs of our customers in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Heinz comes from a family that is in the hospitality trade and began his career as assistant manager at Schlossweingut Graf Hardegg. He got to know the Stift Klosterneuburg Winery very well by working in nearly every department before he took responsibility for sales management for western Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Two children and a dog keep this dedicated family man quite busy in his free time.

Born in Vienna, Sybille Seifert discovered her love for wine during a visit in Chile. Besides her studies of journalism and communication at the University of Vienna, she already gained a lot of experience in marketing and management. For instance she worked at the Palais Auersperg in Vienna, a popular and splendid event location. Soon after her graduation she completed the WSET International Higher Certificate in Wines and Spirits at the Weinakademie Österreich and has therefore extensive knowledge about Austrian and international wines. Right before she started her career as export manager at the Weingut Stift Klosterneuburg, she has been working in the sales department of a well-known Austrian brewery for several years.
Johann Fabian is a Klosterneuburg native. He completed the College for Wine and Horticulture in Klosterneuburg and first worked at the Stift Klosterneuburg Winery during his time as a student. Many wine lovers will know Hans Fabian from the wine shop and wine bar at Meinl am Graben where he worked until 2005. From there he returned to his roots to work at the Stift Klosterneuburg Winery. If Franz happens not to be occupied with wine, you will likely find him playing the double bass.
